Infestations can be identified by small, round holes in the pod walls. Inside, larvae feed on the soybean seeds, moving on to other pods once the seeds are consumed. Consequently, monitoring your crops and implementing control measures as soon as symptoms appear is crucial to safeguarding your potential yield.

To address this need for crop protection, PT Mitra Kreasidharma is introducing SAMBA® 55 EC—a new product designed to control pod-boring pests in soybeans. Containing the active ingredient beta-cyfluthrin (55 g/L), which acts as both a contact and stomach poison, SAMBA® 55 EC helps farmers manage these pests and prevent further damage. Make sure to include pest monitoring as part of your regular crop care routine, especially as the soybeans enter the flowering and pod-formation stages.

For application, use a concentration of 1 ml per liter of water (or 15 ml per 15-liter tank). Spray the crop when signs of infestation appear or when the plants begin to flower, maintaining a 7-day interval as directed on the product label.
